Shinta Indah Jaya Collaborates with HeiQ

26 August 2019

Shinta Indah Jaya is set to collaborate with HeiQ Materials AG, a Swiss speciality chemistry company that produces textile finishings and other auxiliaries. The two companies will conduct joint research on unique textile finishing effects, thus helping Shinta Indah Jaya further expand its product offering. HeiQ, along with three other companies famously developed an oil-absorbing, water-repelling, nonwoven fabric that was used for beach protection during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill tragedy in 2010.

Shinta Indah Jaya provides specialized fabric finishes as part of the company’s value-added service to stay ahead of global demand for functional textiles. The company has direct access to functional yarns such as the renowned SulCool yarn, provided by its sister company Sulindafin that uses innovative moisture-management technology. Furthermore, the company can also apply other custom coatings that provide anti-bacterial, anti-UV, anti-static, water and oil repellent properties, and have been utilized across diverse industry applications.

Through this latest partnership, Shinta Indah Jaya is well-equipped to adapt to the rapidly changing trends in the global textile and garment industries for all of its clients.
